Montréal-Trudeau airoport to welcome an oversized visitor: the Airbus A380
Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport will welcome an Airbus A380 next month during a route verification flight. Among other things, the visit will allow the airport to test in real-life conditions the facilities to be used by the world’s largest passenger airliner.


Its coming Monday Nov. 12 at around 12:00

It couldn't have been here this week....When the A380 came into JFK I was in Canada..Now I am in Canada and its coming to Canada and I'll be back home in the U.S a couple days before it arrives...what the freak!

There was a contest sponsored by Air France - the winners get to return to Paris on the 380. It was open to Canadian residents only, so I didn't read far enough to find out how you got back!

The A380 will be "James Bond" msn007 (F-WWJB).

The aircraft will arrive in YUL from CDG on the 12th then depart to MCO on the 13th and back to YUL/CDG/TLS on the 15th.

I'll be heading up to YUL on Saturday night to spot the day on Sunday and then see the beast on Monday.

Hope the guys down in Florida will catch her at MCO!

Well the Airbus A380 landed on 24R just now. It made a flyover over downtown Montreal before it landed.
