Sometimes the nicest sunsets that I have seen have been on the Belt Parkway when I was driving home from JFK airport heading towards Staten Island.


Of course nothing beats the sunsets in Key West!

I grew up in eastern Colorado, where the sun sets behind the mountains. The first time I went to Florida after I became cognizant of such things as sunset, I kept asking my mom and my grandmother why the sun went so low down in Florida.

Or so I'm told...
