At about 9:15 this morning, I heard something different on a scanner.
It was on 123.45 which is a general air to air conversation frequency used by pilots.
One man was directing two other aircraft for positioning for a photoshoot. He kept referring to them as "Red" and "Black"
He told them thing like "Stay in that position so I can get the Bridge and the Skyline in the backround" or "Tell your passenger in the helicopter to look this way at the Brooklyn skyline but not at us."
It ended with "Okay fellas, have a good flight"
ANY IDEAS?
