We see lots of them during the year and both the Yankees and Mets had a number this summer. The other night at Fenway for the start of the World Series the "Green Mountain Boys" from the New
Hampshire ANG did a four (?) ship flyby in not great weather. Fox showed a quick view from the ground but you couldnt make out the make of the jets. Anyone?
And this Sunday as the Giants and Dolphins play the first ever regular season NFL game in London at Wembley Stadium both the RAF and USAF have scheduled fly overs. The game is on Fox starting at 1PM.

The Green Mountain Boys are the Vermont ANG, they fly F-16s.

There is an annual budget for fly-bys and displays and such.

Surprised there wasnt one last night in Denver for Series Game 3 since the USAF Academy is in Boulder. Or maybe Fox never showed it?

The anthem was also 28 minutes after sunset yesterday, so a flyby might not have been all that effective.

Usually if there is a flyover during a series it is the first game and sometimes the first game at the other teams field.

It is possible that there was a flyover for game 3. TV rarely shows flyovers, sometimes at the end of a game in the conclusion you'll see it for a second.

28 minutes after sunset for a flyover is the most effective for some burners man!

You don't often see the flyover shown, unless it's a NASCAR race, then they almost always show at least a quick look at the flyover.
Did anyone catch the Giants game today? Did they show the flyover from London? I screwed up the VCR (it's set to record Sunday 10/26/2008 http://moose135.smugmug.com/photos/183529493-L.jpg)
On the radio, they said they had 3 RAF Eurofighters, followed by a USAF KC-135 and pair of F-15s.

I didnt see it but I was watching late via my DVR and buzzed through the game. Amazing that
you can watch a 3 hour game in about 1 hour. :D

The anthem was earlier today, about 7 minutes after local sunset, and Fox showed a flight of 4 F-16s. CO ANG from Buckley is the closest, although I can think of 6 bases within a few hundred miles that also have -16s.

Probably never showed it. Buckley ANG base in Denver flies F-16s and is right in Denver, so I'm sure these guys were tasked with the flyover for the game...

Also, the USAF Academy is in Colorado Springs, not Boulder, and the parachute team there will be jumping into the MNF game tomorrow...
