JFK spotting

Hi people,
im Alberto from Milan and i need an help. Next 20-21 November i will pass trough New York coming back from SXM and i want to pass some hours spotting at JFK but i need help from someone because im without car obviously and i dont know if i will have problems with police
I will stay at the Best Western Kennedy airport

Nov 20 and 21? It might be difficult as they are weekdays and most people are working or at school.
