Yeah, that's the real deal.

I remember this one clip from 15 years ago or so. I saw an elevated view looking down, and you could see the shock wave moving through this small town.

YUP, that's what BLEVE looks like. When a tank that size goes I can guarantee that several responders doing saying exactly what they were doing.
