Well I went to DTW today. I missed EVERY single heavy for some reason or another... grr. Oh well. I also found out Air Canada started a flight to DTW with an A320, cool.

It was also my first time shooting in RAW:

1. I notice that the photos have more noise than JPG, what's up with that?
2. What are your settings normally when editing RAW files??

3. What do you think of these photos, first attempt with RAW, i'm not too happy with the results, what do you guys think?

Matt,

I must say, your photos are pretty backlit, but they still manage to maintain excellent quality any are very enjoyable to view as well!! Great work for unfavorable conditions!

So does that mean no more Champion Air flights into DTW at all? Thats not cool!

we will still be flying the nba into PTK all season, if the weather tubes,DTW is our alternate, and who knows they may open the base again,after all the smoke clears with this contract.
