As part of the reorganization of AZ and its dehubbing of MXP, EWR-MXP will be discontinued as of April, 2008. JFK-MXP will remain as well as all NYC-FCO flights. In addition, next summer should bring back the second JFK-FCO flight. Also under consideration is either adding a third seasonal JFK-FCO flight or a second seasonal EWR-FCO flight. Please note that as of next April, MXP will be mainly an O&D airport for the Milan region. Anyone who wants to connect to secondary Italian cities or other Alitalia flights will have to fly through FCO from April. Milan-Linate will become AZ's second focus airport for those who want to fly from MIlan to other Italian or European destinations.
