Has anyone ever dealt with these guys via eBay? They sell these bundle packs with the body and various lenses, along with a memory card, tripods, cleaner, etc. I'm wondering if it's some sort of scam? It seems like a good deal. Here's what I'm looking at...

if you buy with paypal it's not a scam BUT

The package sucks... Never go with those packages...

It's all cheap junk all 3 (use that term lightly, there are only 2) lense are pretty bad, the kit 18-55 and the horrible 75-300... The "3rd" lens is a wide angle attachement that doesn't work right. All the accessories are crap as well.

I have a friend who bought one of those kits as well, I advise against it

Go to B&H and buy with confidence you're not going to get screwed over. I swear by B&H, great prices, the items are always in stock and they ship things out pretty dam quickly. "You go to B&H"

Thanks guys. I did a little research and found that Barclay's really isn't a reliable store. Plus they're closed from tomorrow 'til early-October. I wanted to pick up an SLR before the LGA Kid's Day. I'll just head over to Beach Camera tomorrow. I can't go all the way into the city to B&H.

Just about every camera store (I'm not exaggerating) is going to be closed for the next week and a half due to Jewish holidays. Only way to get one before then is from a national chain like Circuit City or Ritz.

Tommy's right stick to B&H or Adorama. I would be very careful with those ebay deals. Grey Market and refurbished or returned merchandise is prevelant as well as inflated shipping costs.
