What do you expect? CODEPINK has long since forgotten the distinction between opposing the war and opposing the military.

CODEPINK has long since forgotten the distinction between opposing the war and opposing the military.

So has the President.

Not sure how you came up with that comment, you may not agree with the President's action on the war, but, the President has never lost respect for the troops......

Never said he did - he (and others in the administration, the VP especially) blast critics of his war policy as somehow "unamerican" and not supporting the troops. He doesn't seem to understand that I can be opposed to the war in Iraq while still supporting and respecting the troops sent there to fight.

The President has said over & over again that people have the right to protest the war, just as long as you do not disrespect the troops, which obviously as a Veteran, you do not.

Unfortunately, there are groups that do not share your feelings, the Code Pink group showed complete disrespect to the General, while protesting the war, these are the people that the President spoke about.
