Aerobatics competition @ Flying W (now with photos!)

This might be a bit far for the New Yorkers here, but this weekend (Friday-Sunday) there's an aerobatics competition at Flying W Airport down in south Jersey. Looks like there'll be some sun (though with the humidity, probably lots of haze), and I'm probably heading down on Saturday.

So, despite the ominous-looking weather this morning, I made the drive down, and man, am I sure glad that I did. I didn't really watch much of the aerobatics (the box was into the sun, and the planes high and far enough away to make it hard to see and impossible to shoot) but spent the whole day shooting all the comings and goings, working on my panning/prop blur in the process. Especially with the extra traffic for the competition, it's a pretty busy GA airport, with great access. Here are some the photos I took:
