Today's scorching high of 59 in Central Park set a new record for the lowest high temperature on August 21st, and tied the record for lowest high temp on any day in August, set in 1911. The normal high for this time of year is 82, the normal low 67.

It is pretty rediculously cold. I am in sweater and jeans with shoes (anyone who knows how I dress in the summer knows I am a flips type of guy) and I have the air off with windows closed. If I dare turn the heat on my dad will go nuts when he gets home.

High of 59 in August?!?!? Send some of that cool weather to me. Now I'm really looking forward to being in New York next week to get a nice break from the 110 degree Arizona heat...

Sorry my fault. Had a project with PANYNJ go in the right direction so hell must be freezing over.

Today's scorching high of 59 in Central Park set a new record

Damn, only second time in my life I used a jacket over the summer. First was July of 2004 when MN had it's coldest summer on record with no 90 degree says between April and late August and then one week in July we hit overnight lows of mid 30's, yes 30's, for a week. Second time was tonight when the long sleeve flannel still wasn't warm enough and I went for the ramp jacket.
