Well, I took my lunch break over near South Street Seaport, waited from 1330 to about 1410 and didn't see them. Anyone know if they came by earlier or later?

Interesting...I drove over to FRG for lunch around 1:15, and saw a T-28 parked over at Sheltair. Based on timing, I doubt it was the same one, but you never know. Dark blue, Navy markings, N-number shows it registered to a corporate address at ISP. Was pretty well blocked by stuff, so I couldn't get a shot.

It was actually two F-15E Strike eagles from the 333rd Lancers based at SJ North Carolina. They flew over the Hudson and broke around the Statue of Liberty. They arrived at Pease ANG base in NH at 1pm so the flyover ended up being earlier than 1:30.
