Just spent a few days in a cabin on Grand Lake in Danforth, Maine (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=cowger+lane,+danforth,+me&sll=45.648248,-67.754574&sspn=0.039961,0.080338&ie=UTF8&ll=45.02695,-71.037598&spn=10.342741,20.566406&t=h&z=6&iwloc=addr&om=1), literally right on the Canada border. It was quite beautiful, and a lot of fun. I will have some aviation shots and a trip report later today (we flew to PWM and drove the rest of the way) but here are some nature shots for now:

An impressive cloud formation brought by an impending storm. Winds gusted up to around 50mph, and people a couple of miles away reported quarter-sized hail.

Those are nice nature photos, I like the one wit the approaching storms, never seen clouds so dark before.

Very nice photos Matt.

That prop brings back memories of speedboating on lake Greenwood on the NJ/NY border. Damn shame what happened to that prop.
