The Dreamlifter is parked on the Evergreen ramp (old KLM cargo) at JFK tonight. Heard it's leaving in AM. Another no camera night. Sure towers over other EZ 747s on ramp

I am enroute now. I hope I can find the right light on it to get something because my setup sucks right now!

When did this get in????

I left at 2230 tonight and unless I was sleeping all the way to the hangar I never saw it. No fair, first cool visitor since I've been there and I miss it. :(

Oh man can you imagine the bank shot that would make coming off of 31L? Even though she'd prob go up light I can just picture how awesome that would look in my head. I hope someone can get a good shot of her at JFK!

Good, I got there and the only thing that had any form of light on it was the tail and I am by no means a master of my camera just yet. I shall make another pass when I go for my haircut.

Evergreen operates the Dreamlifter. It's their plane.

Other than Tom Turner is ANYONE else trying to get a shot of this plane?

Last month I was in Ireland and was told by someone on the ground that I missed the plane by 2 hours. I just want SOMEONE to catch it.

Not attractive plane all things being equal, but it did look good departing..better than the images here show actually.

Tom
Thanks to Senga - the Human Plane Magnet for giving me a heads up.

To both Toms, thanks for sharing! Good capture of a very unique visitor. Honestly, we may look at this years down the road and say "Hey, remember when the Dreamlifter came into town that day?"

Tom T. Thanks for being there to document this treat. Does anyone know why it was here? Rather strange being there are no parts being built in this neck of the woods for the B787...unless it was a tech stop on the way to Italy maybe?
