A work buddy of mine lent me his Sony Alpha DSLR this past weekend to test out. I grabbed my 75-300 AF lens and headed out to LGA on Saturday morning. Here are a few from the Marina and the College Point Home Depot area. I had a guy break my chops while I was on the pier. He told me that the cops would take my camera away for taking photos of airplanes. I politely told him that they wouldn't and kept taking photos. Comments welcomed, I need some opinions of the quality of the images.

The shots overall are ok, but there seems to be a bit of a blue cast on them, as well as some noise and undersharpness

i agree, the last three seem a bit blue. i used to have a sony point-and shoot digital and that thing also would leave a blue cast on the pix. they also look a bit soft. the UAL 757 looks nice and sharp though.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that, the UAL 752 turned out good.

Thanks, the UAL was a decent shot. The others were backlight because of the early morning sun. I have to give that camera a better test. I only had Saturday morning to test and was in the wrong spot.
