Not sure if anyone else has seen this but I just noticed that Aerolineas has been sending the 747-400 up to JFK since July 1st.

The 747-400 that was involved in a take off incident in MIA on July 4th when a tractor took out an engine on take off (yes I know, crazy right?) was leaving from MIA to EZE after arriving from JFK. My mothers friends were actually on the flight when it hit the tractor!

I'd imagine the 747-400 is a summer upgrade or a temporary sub while an A340-200 is in mx or while the airline is waiting to take delivery of their first A340-300.

Looks like the flights will revert back to the A340-200 or even the -300 starting in the beginning of August so someone please go out and catch her!

I saw it land the other day, but didn't realize it was a -400. I assumed -200 and didn't pay much attention.

Shiza! I've been wanting that one SO bad...then again, I've been wanting the A342 so bad. Revenge shall be had upon my return to NYC late Aug!
