I live under the 22L approach. Directly under the ILS and a little west of the VOR/Visual approach. I am new to the digital and am far from professional. I use a Canon XTI with 75-300mm zoom lens. I find myself looking up all the time and now that I have a DSLR, I just want to share the same love as if I was looking through my own eyses.

So when is the BBQ at your house for the NYCA group? j/k

Keep the shots coming, I know if I lived there, I'd never get anything done if they were arriving 22L. I'd go to bed with a stiff neck from looking up all day.

I used to have a pretty similar view; I was "right next door", so to speak, in Franklin Square.

This was the view I'd have:

What time of day were they landing on 22L? I wanted to go out to the Mounds but the ATIS said they were on the 31s all day, so I went to Bayswater Park instead, and didn't get many good shots...

we used to live a mile from the threshold of 13L, just near the pivot turn on the Canarsie approach. great stuff for a geek like me !

I wanna get a "country home" in Bayswater. Add two stories and hopefully have a dock for a boat.
