I've intensely disliked this guy ever since I went to his live show a few years ago. For about $70 a head we got to see him bend some spoons with loud goth/industrial music playing in the background while people in spooky monster costumes wandered around the theater. Whoopee. :roll:

Anyway, his TV show is even more annoying. Thanks to Tivo and a guy who knows the layout of Mandalay Bay's parking lot, one of his "tricks" is unraveled.

I knew the show was fake one way or another. It is just a show like Seinfeld or Friends, with a rather pathetic attempt to have it look real.

Could you explain how the trick was done since I can't view it? Also, what did these monster costumes look like? LOL sounds lame!!!!

I saw him in Times Square a few weeks back trying to get out of one of those cement blocks dangling in the air... It was really freakin' stupid and a waste of time... He was in there sleeping, and had like 9 hours left to go..

Television illusionist Criss Angel has made millions on his Las Vegas magic show and television series, Mindfreak. And Friday in Nassau County divorce court, his estranged wife said it will take a nice chunk of that fortune to make her disappear.

Angel, born Christopher Sarantakos, an Elmont native, started dating Joanne Sarantakos of Garden City, 15 years ago, when they were both young and naive, her lawyer and family said. But as soon as he hit the big time, he sent her packing, and began parading around town with actress Cameron Diaz, they said.

"He really played the Mindfreak game on her," said Joanne Sarantakos's brother Michael Winkhart, referring to the name of his show. "Chris Sarantakos is technically dead, and Criss Angel has taken over."

Friday's court conference marked the beginning of the couple's divorce proceeding. Their next court date is Sept. 19.
