Greetings,

As I'm starting to post photos to the forums [finally] ... I'm noticing how my posted images often appear a tad overexposed. Yet on my home desktop monitor they appear fine after I lightened them through post-production editing [Ulead Photo Explorer].

The cause may be my choice of metering which I hope to verify this weekend.

So ... I'm wondering if calibrating my desktop monitor is in order. Anyone out there have suggestions ... product recommendations ... etc ... for me to investigate? Thanks.

A properly calibrated monitor is a must. Do it.
