It's that time of year again! Although a little early, time to kick some Chankee rear end!

I'll be at the game on Friday night and possibly Saturday afternoon. Supplies have been purchased and I'm working from home tomorrow. I'll be VPNing it!

Tailgate menu is the following:
Hot Dogs
Hot Italian Sausage & Peppers
Buffalo Wings {Hot In & Out sauce & Teriaki Style} made it myself btw
Case of Budwiser & Blue Point Summer Ale, sigh, water too.....

The DSLR is staying home this weekend.....

Let's all have some fun this weekend and take the series. Get ready to hear the bs chants from those in pinstripes bragging about their world championships (even though most of them don't even know their own teams history).

LETS GO METS!!!!!!

Awesome game today! Just got back home. The flyby was a sweet bonus and that 1st Wright homer was a crusher....well over our heads in the LF bleachers. Lets go Mets!

We even got to see BigPhil pitch tonight (Farny boy) :)

We were at the game today too....we didn't know ahead of time about the flyby and it was a super sweet surprise! :)

Mike, you think I look like Kyle Farnsworth?

Mel and I were actually at the game, too! I'll post some pics and a video of the flyby in a bit. :)

Here's a video of the flyby.

I also have a second video of them going into LGA from a distance. Both fly the rwy 4 approach, one goes and lands while the other steps off the path, loops around and goes back in.

Here's Mel and I at our seats at the very top of the stadium on the 3rd base line.

When those hornets popped up on the inbound, I nearly lept from my position.

That homer was nuts, but his second one off of Johnny Cakes' glove was much sweeter. :D

Mike, you think I look like Kyle Farnsworth?

Yeah, exactly like him. Carlos was at the game with me and he thinks the same. The only difference is that you pitch better than he does :) hahahahaha

Here's a shot taken by those roaming photogs at Shea. We got there early to grab the front row of the bleachers. The Beltran ball Matsui caught that almost went over, we were right above him.

haha. Actually....that was my voice you heard tossing in the "wooo" for them.

Perhaps I need to revamp my yelps.

I second guessed it was you Phil. I think all of our voices get a little high pitched when we see cool aircraft.

I was aiming for volue, and it gets a little high.

I was also wearing a hot pink leotard.

I was also wearing a hot pink leotard.

Alright, that is the comment of the day! :D

Don't worry Phil, we all scream like a girl when we see some Hornets :)

Good video though. I'm a little surprised they flew that high though, I would of thought a lower fly-by would have been in order.

I was also wearing a hot pink leotard.
Jeter was wearing a matching one under his uniform.

I was at tonight's game. Somehow it was colder than Friday's game, but at least it didn't rain. The Mets were simply baffled by the pitches from the little leaguer the Yanks put on the mound. Oh well. Time to start crawling ebay for next month's rematch.

And here's a "wow, I'm old" reminder: this is the TENTH season of interleague play. Anyone remember the first Subway Series game? That's right, the Mets' Dave Milicki threw a complete game shutout at Yankee Stadium for a 6-0 win over the defending World Champs. :D

What happened tonight guys, our rookie pitcher too much for ya? :)

One of the very few highlights in Dave Milicki's career with the Mets.

Yep, he was pretty bad...24-30 Mets record. Ed Randall interviewed Milicki on Talking Baseball on FAN yesterday morning and they talked about that game.

The pimples and diaper were much too distracting. We didn't want him to go crying to mommy so we let ya win one ;) (He was great, looked awesome out there....just hope he doesn't go out on DL like Hughes)

alright boys Mets take game 1 of the series,

It reminds me of the first subway series game ever when the Mets won6-0
Should we bring out the spraycans?

We need to score more runs more often! Oliver and the relief boys pitched great last night but man to they like the drama! Gotta take at least two out of three this weekend!

What a great catch by Gomez wasn't it!
