I have no clue, anytime I see a contest pop up on AA.com I'm like "what the hell." So it could have been a number of contests. Had to be awhile back though. The last one i remember doing was back in the winter.

And while congrats are in order, my only gripe with AA is that even though you have the miles, to think that even if you wanted to use them in a month or 2 for a roundtrip, you might still not get the seat on the dates wanted due simply to inventory controls. C'est la vie, nes pas?


Dude, if I were you...Use them for an F class flight to Tokyo and enjoy the spotting. I am so thrilled and envious of you. That would be the best use of those miles. F seats all the way cost 145K.
