Went out to Phoenix for the weekend. Here are a few shots.

Went through Boston. Caught these while while waiting for my flight.

I agree that last one jumps out. Plust the C17 shot blends in with the FFT 319. Looks like he's flying over him. WTF are you shooting with though. Some of those closeups look like a 600 prime. I guess it's just the typical 100-400

I love the BA shot. It almost has the feeling of being in LHR instead of BOS.

Great shots! The C-17 is my favorite

In the background of the Pink Delta photo, why does that 737 have 4 engines?

Because its a 707.....

Not so fast...look at the structure up against the starboard fuselage. See the name "Honeywell"? Based on a picture here (about 1/3 of the way down the page)

http://www.air-and-space.com/Boeing_Testbeds.htm

I think it's N720H, Honeywell's Boeing 720 testbed. It has a pylon mounted on the starboard side of the fuselage (where that structure is) and they can mount engines for flight tests.

There's a bunch of shots on jp.net, just do a search on "N720H"

Because its a 707.....

Not really :) Its 720 that belongs to Honeywell. Here is my shot of it taken March 20.

That Southwest shot - is there another plane in between the two? Or does 442 have one blue winglet and one brown winglet?

Eric, as I said to Tommy re his JFK shots Saturday morning, this is some of your best work yet, really awesome shots, I especially like the BA's at BOS. Looks like a great variety of PHX goodies as well.

Cheers

The 442WN has a mismatched tail and winglets. You are absolutely correct.

Eric, it was great seeing you and hanging out at PHX on Saturday. I'm glad you got such nice shots (I haven't edited too many of mine yet). Thanks for making my hometown airport look good! :)

I'm looking forward to LAX later this year...
