The fastest DSLR ever - 10.1 megapixels @ 10FPS. 110 JPEGS or 30 burst rate.
Self cleaning ultrasonic cycle at switch on. Built in dust spot software too.
Huge 3 inch LCD....AND it can be used for live view capabilities for composure as well.
Plus other little stuff, but the above list is truly a breakthrough.

Mike do I sense a Nikon owner coming over to our camp?? I mean I couldn't blame you, lol
Sounds like an amazing camera. If Canon comes out with similar self cleaning functions on a 30D replacement I'm on it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Its got a tag of $4,500.00. Not bad comparing it to the then new Nikon D2x that was 5K.

Nope, overall I still like the Nikon system. Everything has its pluses and minuses.
And forgot to mention-- I think this new Canon has the 1.3 magnification factor. That will not work for long shots , example-Howard Beach.
I tried the 1D Mark II there and its terrible-the loss of focal length keeps you at 400 MM all the time, and you still can't fill the frame.
Soooo, its gonna be the ultimate "ram rat" camera for you privileged guys :(

Tommy, I agree. Rumors are saying that a 40D will have that cleaning feature. Septemberish I hear people saying.[/quote]
