Pretty wild. I had read about this and wondered how it looked in action so thanks for the link Mike. They must need an awful lot of jumpers per flight for this to be cost effective, I wonder how often it actually goes up.

I think they take up to 80 jumpers. Very cheap to operate, the aircraft takes off lightly fueled, takes about 4 minutes to reach altitude, two passes, barely a 15 minute flight.

I am so loving it.
I love hte footage around 3:10 where the cameraman jumps out just prior to the 2nd jumper, so you get the effect of jumping out and looking up at the jet. Sweet Jesus what a thrill!
I am going skydiving!

I would love to jump on that bird. That is one way to jumpseat on a 9 without being a pilot, dispatcher, load master, FAA inspector, or secret service agent I guess.

that's so sweet! wonder what thier time-to-altitude was. man i'd love to fly that airplane!!!

The climb to altitude is about 4 minutes
Jump run speed is between 130-150 knots
