I wonder if they will be flown in Delta colors? That would be one sexy son of a Beech!

I think they are just replacing Commutair or Colgan?

OAG doesn't even show ISP-BOS

This new service is to compete with, not replace the three current US Express flights operated by Colgan, as part of a decent size commuter buildup by DL in BOS. Looking at US's schedule a biz traveler could do a day trip for a meeting in either direction, while that only really works on DL for BOS based day trippers but not well for ISP, only 6 hours between the first arrival in BOS and the last departure back to ISP.

Cheers

I think Delta used to fly ISP-BOS back in the 90s with Business Express (wow, remember them?)

That's correct BizEx did fly ISP-BOS for DAL for awhile then they did it with Eagle. Great airline! They served free beer!

I remember seeing those once. That was actually the first time I flew SWA from ISP, right after they started flying there (They started in 3/1999 my flight was 4/1/1999). Southwest gave me a bad image when we had to fly to Fort Lauderdale: ISP-BWI on one flight then BWI-FLL via JAX on another. I thought that was pointless. Back then, I remember that Spirit Airlines also had flights into ISP.

Well, the ones flying this new route in and out of ALB are flown by Big Sky Airlines and they look like this:

I assume this will be the same for ISP

Nice shot Dan!

I'll be keeping my eye out for the new colors at ISP and let you know what shows up.
