Hi everyone,

Well, I'm starting to consider PIA to be the new BA in the sense that they have an array of beautifully painted schemes on tails of many of their aircraft. I've been missin' the BA World Tails like woah, so I'm so glad to see another carrier has done something quite similar!

This has made me wonder...how many of these different schemes are there on the B777 -200LR, 200ER, and 300ER aircraft that PIA brings to JFK?

This, in turn, has sparked within me the desire to propose a modest challenge! Let's see who can be the first NYCAviation member to capture all the different tail colors at JFK! A bit of a friendly game like this doesn't hurt every now and then, does it? Well then...off you go! Head on over to Kennedy and snap away at those beauties!

Here's my start :P :

You do realize there are only 3 possible tail schemes currently to be seen at JFK, right Josh? ;)

Just so everybody knows:

AP-BHX (777-200ER) Sports Nature's Orchard
AP-BHV (777-300ER) Sports Colours of the Desert
AP-BHW (777-300ER) Sports Garden of the Mughal

AP-BGZ (777-200LR) Regular Colors
AP-BGY (777-200LR) Regular Colors
AP-BGL (777-200ER) Regular Colors
AP-BGK (777-200ER) Regular Colors

I'm on the same level as Josh.

And to make it even more easier:

The 777-300ER comes in on weekends and the 777-200 comes in during the week.

What about this one.

I think they meant PIA a/c that currently serve JFK. PIA's 747s were banned in Europe, and the JFK flights route through MAN (although there was something a few months ago about PIA getting around this by routing a plane through Turkey).

IIRC, PIA also has some 737s and 310s painted with special tails, but we won't be seeing those stateside.

Don't be so sure you won't see the A310's stateside! This one was here last November as a VIP.
