Help with .NEF conversion - **NIKONIANS!**

I'm working on a photo which is in .NEF format, taken with a D1. I need for it to be a jpg. In the past I've used PS CS2 to convert CRWs to jpgs, but for some reason it's not working so well with this file.

Is anybody willing to help me with this? Do you have to have Nikon Software in order to do this?

I have Nikon software that can import it Mel - email it to me - you still have my home email?

Hi Mel,

could it be that you need an updated version of Adobe Camera RAW ? I had problems with my D200 files and after I updated to the current version it worked fine.

It's most likely what Tamon stated, you need the latest (or the version that supports D1 NEFs) ACR.
