JFK Airport sunday 3-11 w/pics

I made it out to JFK Airport a bit late due to delays on the subway. I got there about 3pm and decided to go to the terminals to catch these planes.

Then i took the Q3 bus to N. Boundery Rd and took a nice walk through Rockaway freeway on since there was a walkway anyway as i cought some arrivals on the way towards Nassau.

Soon as i got to Nassau, everything started using runway 4L and 4R again then i turned around and headed back to N. Boundery as i got these goin back.

Then i stayed late to catch China Eastern A340-600 and Cargoitalia DC-10

That photo of the 747 lifting off head on is unique to say the least.

WHere was it shot from and with what sort of zoom? Off the 4's?

I took this shot by a small construction site by Rockaway Channel where runway 22R & 4L can be seen. I only stood there to catch that Air France Cargo Boeing 747-200 take off from there in which that was my last take off shot i did before heading back to the terminals
