Introduction, and CDG 04/02/07 pictures

Hello !

This is my first post. I live in Belgium, heart of Europe. I am 36 and like very much civil and military aviation. I am struck between Brussels airport, Paris airports, Dusseldorf, Luxemburg, London airports and Amsterdam. It can be worse ... ;-)
I hope to be able to visit New York area during next summer and, as i never had the chance to do it, i am reading the forum and descriptions. I do have a bette understanding of how JFK, LGA and EWR are "working", this forum is very interesting !!!

What better introduction than posting a log and pictures taken at Paris Charles de Gaulle two weeks ago. I hope to be able to post some take an Paris Orly if you like them ...

Important note ; it is now forbidden to photograph aircraft in Paris Charles de Gaulle without the appropriate authorisation. Strange move by french authorities, but spotters have to deal with it !

Those are some great pictures you posted, and wait to nail the TAM MD-11!

I have flown in and out CDG many times and have had the privilege of spotting at the airport once for the day and found some great spots and caught some great aircraft.

CDG is the place to see them. When I was there in November I saw the Qatar Amirir 747SP.
