For anyone who has gone to the World's Fair Marnia to watch the Expressway visual arrivals to LGA know the banks can be dramatic and enjoyable to watch. This weekend saw some of the most interesting banks I've seen at the marina reminding me how enjoyable LGA is to spot at.

Fantastic shots Tommy! When did AA go with their retro Astro Jet? I have an avaition book that I bought a couple of months ago and it showed their first jets with the Astro scheme. It would be great if they also named a few of their jets as they did with the Douglas props back in the day!

I was just out at the marina yesterday myself; lots of pics from planes banking too, but my Photoshop machine is down and I can't do anything with them yet. Hopefully I should be able to post a few of mine by the end of the week.

Ha ha you shot them and I watched them land. Next time wear a bright orange shirt or somthing so I can pick you out from the tower.

Out of two days spotting, I only one one bank shot worth keeping:

Most of the others were too early for my 300mm reach to get well; I really need to save up for the 100-400 (or at least a 2x TC for my 70-200).
