I went to FLL briefly yesterday (twice) for work and I must say that it's like a box of collector pieces for aircraft. AThey get a lot of stuff that the NYC area just doesn't get.

Though much of this is surely normal traffic, here's alist of what I saw.

- Caribbean Dash-8
- BahamasAir Dash-8
- Peter Nygard 727
- Capital Cargo 727
- Spirit MD-80s (2)
- American Eagle ATR-72
- Some other all white ATR
- CO 753 (2)
- US 752 new colors (3)
- Astar DC-8
- Those Airborne Express prop planes
- Air Canada 762
- North American 752 :wink:
- That whole Miami Dolphins fleet

There was more, but I just don't remember everything. Fun traffic to see, I really recommend checkingout that airport.

What are Spirit MD-80's doing there? Were they flying or just parked? Spirit doesn't fly them anymore, but we have a bunch parked here at DTW.

They are just parked there. I saw three in the same spot last time I was there in October.

Phil - I was spotting at FLL at lunch time - guess you weren't around there at that time as I didn't see a NA 752...

Was at Terminal 1, arrived at 11:23am and departed at 1:24pm.

Well - that would explain it - I was at the parking at the holding point of 9L from 11:55am - 12:40pm - can't you guys take off while I'm there please - Air Jamaica and WestJet can :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mark, I was thinking about you while I was there, wishing that you could have gotten a pic or that I had time to grab a bite. It kills me knowing how close we missed each other.
