Over the past couple of weeks I have taken notice of the amount of contrail that fly over Poughkeepsie including low heavies so today I decided I would photograph some.
This is from about an hours worth of sitting outside with my neck turned towards the sky. I will add more photos to this thread as the day goes on.

I can assure you that Southwest plane is actually a 737-700.
I can tell because of the winglets and also because of the slight discoloring under the wing which would be the red canoes which signify the -700 varient for SWA.
But excellent contrail pics!!

Thanks for pointing that out Alex, I was under the impression that Southwest had started to install winglets on their -300 fleet.

that PIA 772LR is pretty good!

They have only installed one -300 with winglets, N368, and it is still on the ground.

Just had a United 747-400 fly over.
Man I love taking contrail shots now, you never know what you are going to see!
