Lawyer Says Anna Nicole Smith Has Died

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) -- A lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith says she has died. She had been unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital Thursday while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino, hotel officials said.

"She checked in Monday at 8 p.m. as a guest. She was due to check out tomorrow," said Danielle Giordaano, a spokeswoman for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The way home from my new job takes me right past the Broward County Medical Examiners office and late this afternoon, I happened to be 2 cars behind a very big black Ford Excursion with blacked out windows that had the markings "Medical Examiner" all over it as it pulled off the road into said aforementioned office - and I thought all those cameramen and the 3 helicopters buzzing overhead were wishing me a safe drive home :lol:

The lawyer, Howard Stern, was present in the room for both deaths. This guy is going to get heat no matter if he's innocent or not.

I don't think she was the brightest crayon either, and she probably did something stupid that led to her early death, but it doesn't mean you should say it's a GOOD thing. That's just inhumane.

The lawyer AND her husband, who, since Anna's son is no longer alive, will probably take a big chunk of her money.

Hmm...seems fishy. Anna Nicole has a kid, her son dies days later. Then she dies five months later. Foul play?

And regardless of what she didn't do for society, she was only 39. That's too young to die.

Possibly, but not necessarily. There is going to be a lot of time spent in courtrooms trying to figure it out..a.)there are two men claiming to be the baby's father, more may come out of the woodwork, and there has yet to be a paternity test; b.)it is not clear whether Smith and Stern were legally married. c.)the courts still have not decided what portion of her deceased husband's estate Smith was entitled to.

This woman is going to end up being even more profitable for the country's lawyers than OJ Simpson.

That's odd - sort of like how the old lady mystery writer would always be around when someone was killed in "Murder, She Wrote". Maybe it was really her killing all those people :D

I suspect that if Smith had stayed as heavy as she had been, this media frenzy wouldn't be nearly as great. She had actually returned to being pretty hot, and the media loves dead beautiful people a lot more than dead fat people.
