Well I finally broke and decided to stop dilly dallying around with things and sent in my stuff to fly for Colgan. I tried to avoid it for as long as I could with my eyes on flying for Comair ultimately or PSA but I cannot stand being on the ground. I have been flip flopping around with this stuff for a few weeks now and I decided to at least apply with them. I am bent on moving back to Florida though the end of this year beginning of the following though so it depends. I may just end up looking for a lear gig or a kingair job or somthing to hold me off till I move back to Florida but oh well.

Fun is when your VSI is pegged (down), the blue side is down, and your getting closer to the barber pole every second.

AMEN TO THAT!!

oh yea, good luck with colgan.

Ryan, good luck. I know someone who flew there for a few years and it did lead to something better. Only problem is the pay is crap so it really only works if you have other ways to augment your income or if, as my friend did, you go live someplace cheap (Lebanon NH in this case)...Keep us posted on this...

Good luck Ryan, I'm sure this will lead to bigger and better things. :)

I had 5 freinds apply for Colgan recently, all of them on the Saab one on them Beech 1900. The captains sound nice, they fly slow so the F/O can build time and pay. The downside is your not gonna see the class A space for a while. Also alot of people go to Airtran or JetBlue after Colgan.

they are looking for some 200+ f/os, and they are the perfect jet transition
