Since the DOT rejection that airline has come out with a new website:

http://www.letvafly.com

Where you can sign a petition and also opt to send a letter to your congressman.

Here is the video showing the cabin:

The website also shows some pictures.

It looks like the video was shot in the summer if it was shot in RME.

I think that's great. Very innovative and a true revolution. It's like JetBlue squared.

Did they always intend to have an FC or is this new? Also, this confirms they have the mood lighting, which I had suggested jokingly when I saw one of those night pics from JFK where the windows made the interior look pink.

I believe that was always intended.

Nice interior, but I find it funny that in the video he sits in the exit row to show the Y seats, lol.

Virgin America attempts to fly again
Branson's low-cost airline reapplies for permission to fly, after being denied by transportation regulators.
January 17 2007: 6:32 PM EST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Virgin America Inc. revised its ownership application on Wednesday, hoping to reverse a tentative decision by U.S. regulators to deny its bid to start low-cost airline service this year.

The company, with branding and financial ties to British entrepreneur Richard Branson's Virgin Group, has made significant changes to its original proposal, which the U.S. Transportation Department rejected on Dec. 27.

Virgin America grounded

Sir Richard Branson
Transportation planners determined Virgin America failed to satisfy a long-standing federal law that limits foreign participation in U.S. airlines. Carriers must be controlled by U.S. citizens, and overseas equity is restricted to 25 percent of voting stock.

I just came across this site with lots of photos of the IFE, cabin, cockpit, ground shots, etc. of VA:

I found this shot of all the different mood lighting options interesting: http://www.engadget.com/photos/mega-han ... nt/156770/ (http://www.engadget.com/photos/mega-hands-on-virgin-americas-airbus-a320-with-red-in-flight-entertainment/156770/)
