I posted it in the EWR thread, but for you JFK/LGA types, L'Avion started service to EWR last week. Fares are only $999 roundtrip as they try to build a customer base it seems on their 757-200's. I read that its a 2x2 seating with 90 seats total, so if your looking to go to Paris it sounds like a good deal.

From the press release:

Newark Liberty is 22 miles to New York, as compared to JFK at 34 miles.
Umm, what? They're almost equidistant from most of Manhattan. On Google Maps...

42nd and Broadway to EWR = 16.3 miles
42nd and Broadway to JFK = 16.5 miles

From downtown there's a bigger difference, but JFK is not 34 miles from anywhere in NYC.

Technically, JFK Airport is IN New York City. Stupid French.

According to a thread on a.net, the loads have been very poor over the first few days, and they actually canceled one trip because it had only two bookings. Has anyone seen any advertising for them around?

Surprised they didn't stuff the introductory flights with employees and invited guests as Eos did in the beginning, to make it look more full. Not surprising their press release is a bit off on the airport info in as much as their website is apparently intentionally written in somewhat confusing Franglish. See this travel blog for examples of what I'm talking about:
