Checked my flights to see if I still had 1st class to myself for the entire trip and found out they changed my flights for 4 out of the 6 legs of the trip. Nothing too bad, just flight numbers and a few minutes difference in times. The only major dissapointment though is that I was originally supposed to be flying a 752 from PHX to PHL on the way home, but that has been changed to a A321. I was really looking forward to the 752, since I haven't been on one of them since I was a kid.

When I went on flightstats.com to see what the typical airtraffic was like for thurs-sat (only say thurs so far), I was looking for when the KLM 744 lands, and found out that they fly an MD-11 in on thurs (at least this thurs anyway). Just thought I'd share that bit of info I found since we don't get to see PAX MD-11 here in the NYC area. Hopefully Flightstats.com is reliable in this instance.

SXM has definitely moved into the top 3 places I'm concidering at tyhe end of the summer for a long spotting weekend!

Just got back from the first snow birding trip of the winter. Monday I did JBU 341 JFK-SRQ and a few hours ago I landed on JBU 348 from SRQ. Tennative plans have me in SRQ for 3 days exactly a month from today and in CLT for a couple of days starting December 27th or so. First trip of the new year will also likely be SRQ followed closely by Liberia, Costa Rica and France. The trip to France not being as exciting as the trip home from there. :cool:

My son gave me a pair of business class seats for Christmas, which indicate they are from an AA 767-200, but they are marked as 12A/B and every seat map I can find for the AA 767-200 shows business class ending at row 11.

Just got an email yesterday that my flight (AA 160) from KSAN to KJFK was upgraded from a 737-800 to a 767-300. Keeping my original seat assignment puts me in the "mini cabin" behind first class and in front of the rest of coach. Definitely looking forward to my first wide-body flight!

Unlike my last trip to LAX, each segment of this one was on different equipment. The final segment was supposed to be a 739, and boy was I ticked when a 737 rolled up to the gate. That, plus a 3-hour delay due to wx, made me a bit sour. That is, until, I reminded myself that the -700 had gotten me safely back to PHL. What a descent into PHL that was with the weather on Saturday, when I later looked it up on flightaware it looked like one of my FS flights, with several zig-zags before we got to the threshold

Flew Stansted (UK) on Ryanair to Leipzig 4/23 then 4/24 Leipzig - EMA East Mids Airport on Aerologic B777F - Say no more on the comfort differences and yes i'd rather fly with a box than SLF!
On 1st May am flying EMA-CVG in the third best seat in the plane for a quick visit down to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby prior to a 0445 local time flight back to Brussels on 5/3 then jumpseat BRU-LEJ-EMA a good 20hr day!

A weekend in Scotland. Flying the first Norwegian Air International flight from SWF to EDI, returning home a couple days later. The convenience of having flights to Europe at the airport 20 minutes from home (versus ~90 to JFK or EWR) is a big plus for me. We'll see how the onboard experience is, though I'm optimistic.
