What the hell is this crap with bringing your chidren & grand kids to a session of Congress? What's next, baking cookies? I don't care about Nancy Pelosi's personal life, I only care as to what they are going to do on taxes, the economy, etc.....

Why are her fellow Democrats allowing her to steal the spotlight? She is not the leader of a movement.....

LOL! I agree, unfortunately the previous congress was a do-nothing congress, and America saw that and voted them out. I would have rather had Republicans in, but not the same ones as the previous congress who did nothing.

Yeah, bringing her grand kids to a congressional hearing is a little over the top!

It wasn't a hearing, it was the pro forma session where Members took the oath of office. Many Representitives brought their young children or grandchildren. 434 of them didn't get to be Speaker, and so didn't receive nearly as much media attention as Nancy Pelosi's grandchildren.

Nancy Pelosi is 2nd line to become President after the Vice President, if anything ever happened to the President, yet somehow, this picture does not seem very Presidential. I would be more comfortable knowing that we have a tough B***H in the White House than somebody that changes diapers & bakes cookies...
