JFK Spotting places

Hi,

I live in Holland and fly to JFK tomorrow (Friday). I arrive there in the evening and stay there for just 2 days. Now I am wondering what the best spotting places are for JFK. At this website I see the tool "spotting map JFK", but there is no spotting place at the runway?
Whereas I do see photos of it, Now I want to know if this is accessible for everyone?

Can anyone tell me where it is and if I am able to stand there, photographing?

Hello Stef,

That is shot from our own Mario Craig. He has some friends in high places so those shots are not possible for you (sorry) There are a lot of great spots outside the fence, trouble is you kind of need a car to get around to them in a timely manner. Public transpo is a possibilty but only to some. Check the spotting maps and if you wany anymore help PM me. Hope you get some sun this weekend.

As Nik said, I had to sell my kidney in order to get that photo.

But with your lens and some of the spots (you can find them on this website, under spotting locations on the home page) you can get money shots like this, by our own house moose!
