View Full Version : ADW trip Recap for Dec 8th, 9th

Greetings.
A few interesting planes from ADW over the last 2 days. Unfortunatly nothing new for me. Better luck next time I guess. I think this is about my 5th or 6th shot of RA-86540 and my 4th shot of ZS-RSA I could just scream! This is the same one that has been flying to JFK over the last few days. Its still at ADW now. I truely belive that the IL-62 is one of the most beautiful aircraft still in service.

Very nice shot of that IL-62. I thought that you are talking about Russian State Transport aircraft. I want this one!!! :)

Were you able to see any of the VC-25A's or C-32's at ADW?

Yes I saw the usual suspects. The C-32 looked like it was about to go someplace. When I came back in the evening the VC-32 was gone.

Nice! I really want to see a Il62 soon, maybe a Tu-154. anyone know when they are coming to JFK, please tell.

They come a lot during the winter months. It shouldn't be a problem.
