Well guess I'd be flying for Horizon if I so chose to fly with a regional carrier.

Somebody had a little too much fun with their video editing software.

Salary info was slightly interesting, but first year pay is almost always the lowest.

I don't know why people continually whine about how little pilots make. It's been like this for years, and it's not going to get better. Very simple: if you want to live comfortably, do not seek a career as a pilot.

I agree, but I think this is one of the problems why the interest in becoming a pilot for so many is becoming less and less. This is one of those jobs that you do because you love to do it. A first year B1900 pilot isn't supporting a family let alone themselves comfortably. However if you pay your dues pilots flying mainline jets are making a very nice living.

Regionals never pay good, but mainlines pay very good, so you just kind of have to wait until you can get into the mainlines.

I will take 18.5 a year for the first year to fly a CR7 or 9
