Mike, the second time. I'm glad they went around because I had no idea they were bringing the new colors in. But I'm not thrilled with how they came out, pretty hazy out there today. Oh well.

I believe this aircraft has been assigned to EWR so it has become pretty common.

There been a 747-100 and 747-200 almost daily on weekdays at EWR. At least one of them every day but both more often then not for the past 3-4 months.

2 JFK diversions today due to fog, Emirates and Lufthansa A340's both made emegency fuel landings. Emirates had less the 50 minutes of fuel and Lufthansa less then 20. Little too close for comfort.

Anyway, I had a question. I heard that there was a white 727 at EWR today with the New Jersey Devils logo on its tail. I believe the reg is N615PA. Does anyone have a picture of it with the logo? Thanks!

Hi that is correct. I shot this aircraft 2 weeks ago but they just put the decal on this week. It is on the tail. Its been parked on the cargo line near Kallita and ATI.

Is the logo just something small or does it fit proportionally on the tail? A shame they didn't paint it black.

Not really of spotter interest but FYI Saturday's BA189 from LHR diverted to BGR for medical emergency, continued to EWR couple of hours later. Pax in question was taken off at BGR but has apparently turned out to be ok (was with a group a colleague was waiting at EWR to meet).

I left this morning to GSP, N13913, and saw the Nomads 727. Near the de-icing hangar was a 757 and a DC-9, I didn't get to see the titles or colors. Does anyone know what they are?

Thanks guys, I was glad to get that plane. The 757 your talking of is N757SS. One side has Dallas Stars written on it with their emblem on the tail and the other side has the Texas Rangers written on it with their emblem on the tail. Tom Hicks wants his boys getting around in style it seems. But the 757 departed to PIT tonight after the Devils beat the Stars.
