I was suprised today the loads were only marginally higher than average.
Express and shuttle had more people than usual flynig but mainline was pretty average today. I would say only about 15% above normal if that much really. The flow was pretty steady. Anyone else around the airports notice that? I think the biggest hit was we were on single runways operations today as far as affecting travel. 4 all day long while I was there.

As I arrived at LGA around 1230 from my view out the M60 bus window I was shocked to see that the large parking lot in front of both the US and DL Terminals was only about half full and the empty spots where spread equally between the two terminals.

Matt thanks for reminding me. last night I boarded the employee bus at approx 2335 lcl at the US Terminal, we arrived at the CTB 30 mins later at 0005 and the employee lot at 0020 all do to severe roadway gridlock. Bad way to end a really bad night at the office !

Happy Thanksgiving

Tonight is running a lot smoother than Tuesday night ironically in much worse weather. And hiss may get to do more than sip coffee in the morning, you will also be fairly well fed, since the HP folks took over we are usually very well fed on Thanksgiving day and other occasions.

Happy Thanksgiving

I flew in last night (Tuesday nite) from DEN and got in around 0015. It seemed a little more crowded than it normally does at that time (based on previous experience) but not much more so. The line for a cab was still only about 5 minutes...

MCO was also marginally busier. I expected full flights, and most were heavy, but not full. No payload issues tonight. I got out at 2300 local tonight but then went out with the coworkers to have some fun at TGI Fridays. What a time we had. Great great way to kick off this Thanksgiving holiday. Thank goodness I don't have to work tomorrow. However, I cannot wait to see how busy Sunday is. Should be fun fun.

at EWR on COA flights, load factors were only about 3-4% more then usual, delays were all due to weather

We have Sunday as having the killer numbers. Yesterday had consistent flows but the lines at the checkpoints didn't get any longer than usual.

May you all have a safe and enjoyable Holiday.
