This past summer I went on a 737 classic simulator in England and it was absolutely amazing. I'd expect an Airbus to be interesting because of the different flight controls. Hope you fave a great time!

When you take a picture of the visual, have the Instructor turn all the interior lights on & shut your flash off.

The Airbus is one heck of a bird to fly. I love it! We started off just off the stand at LGA with light winds started up taxied out to 31 and departed using about 4,000 feet of runway to get off and hand flew her out manually to the ocean and just flew some manuvers for a little bit and than I had to ask the obvious question anyone who knows me well enough knows I will ask in a new type. How does she roll? well it turns out that it is quite easy to roll the bus we did it in the sim of course the legs only take you to a certain point than it is graphics etc etc... but we came back in to LGA shot a few t&g's using various weather situations and than we set up at CLT for departure and simulated a flame outon number 1 in rotation. The 320 handled amazingly we came back around for a full stop and got on the brakes hard because I came in a bit long on the landing with a litle excess speed. on the approach but all in all it was amazing. than back to theclassroom for another long session working in Qik over Shares. Tomorrow I will be back in it for a little bit as well.

So day 2 of sim rides was a little more intresting but did not get to play around too much with it. It is amazing the diffrent modes you can put the planes computers in for diffrent levels of automation really. You can really take the pilots out of the equation if you want to with that plane. Tomorrow I am in class through the morning than out of CLT for the weekend. Next week promises to be quite fun though.

Wait, initially she was going to take pics but now you were in the sim yourself? Did you take one for the team and she let you in the sim?

As for the rolling, try it again and close your eyes. The sim effect loses its effectivity. Its amazing how visual perception is important in the reality of the sims.
