Can you guys help me? I uploaded the following picture to jetphotos, figuring it would get through with no issues. I consider it to be better than other stuff of mine they accepted. What would you do to correct the editting of this pictures or is it just hopeless? Jetphotos rejected it for being:
- Overexposed
- Too much noise or grain

This is a link to the original (full sized, 3.3 MB):

Here's the submitted picture:

Here's the original (resized to 1024x683):

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

If you look at the first one, you cropped it so much that the editing software doesn't have that much information i.e. mega pixels to work with, hence anything you do is going to multiple the noise factor. The noise in the pic very evident. Btw just a I crop to 1024x691.

Tommy, do you think the picture can be saved?

actually, since its for JP, i say it has a shot with a good edit. Illl give it a go with the original, and post it here when edited.

That's classic!

Tommy is right. You shot the subject too far away and the image quality suffered when you tried to fill the frame with the crop. Fill the frame with the capture and do a lot less in PS. The results will be better.
