I applaud all of you for sticking your ground but at my age I can't deal with this aggravation. Also, I have no car and must take a taxi out to the periphery of JFK and its expensive. Also, when runways were rotated I had to find transportation to a different location.Since my favorites, no Concorde, no IL-62s, no DC-10s and few 747s come anymore it's not worth it. In the 80's and 90's I had the pleasure of perching atop the Pan Am (Delta) roof for hours. That ended with Lockerbie and Pan Am 103. Then I stayed on Rockaway Blvd at JFK. Sadly, all my photos are on Kodacolor negatives so I can't share on the internet. I have many TWA, Eastern, Pan Am, Laker,Braniff,TransAmerica, etc. You guys are doing a great job with the photography and keep-up the good work.

Don't let that hold you back. If you ever see a post that some of us are going out, shoot one of us a message and ask for a ride. I'm not shy to meeting new people and I know many in the group would be happy to help you out. It sounds like your slide collection is a pot of gold! I might be able to help you with your negatives by getting them on CD for you. Feel free to PM me.

I am not that old but I also have plenty of shots from the late 80's early 90's from the roof of the Pan-AM / delta term.I'm still looking for an easy way to move them all to digital, Plenty of twa, pan am, delta tri-stars& A-310's:lots of 707's dc-10's etc

I have a couple of high speed film scanners that can do the job. They are 35mm format and will save an image up to 10mb. I can scan strips or full length rolls up to 36 exposure. If it's something you'd like to do, let me know and I can lend a scanner to you. It's about the size of a desktop computer.
