"The Shining" with Jack Nicholson

I have always lked the movie but 4 year ago, I read the following. What do you think?

Very interesting. I loved this movie, and I think the article's a bit of a reach--sounds like some college essayist trying to write a term paper and reaching for every connection imaginable. But I'm going to watch out for some of these things next time I see the movie.
