holy cow, I just noticed thath te old cop, (name= roscoe??) was the same guy who plays the Drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket!

Sorry Mario, it's not the same guy. Ermey was in Full Metal Jacket, as well as The Boys in Company C and Apocalypse Now, all Viet Nam movies made around the same time, but he wasn't in Dukes of Hazzard.

James Best played Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the Dukes series, and subsequent TV movies. M.C. Gainey played Rosco in last year's movie.
