Well, we knew it was gonna come to a point where a certain pink and white combination would no longer be seen rocketing out of airports across the east coast. It looks like that point is here. From a Delta A&P: "610 is out of service until the end of the month for Paint and two-class mod." Sorry Mel :? I never even got to see the damn thing :x

Honestly, considering the significance of the paint job, wouldn't if be more poignant and cost effective to simply keep the scheme and replace the Song Name with Delta?

Well Melanie may be loosing her beloved Pink Song but sounds like she is gaining a Pink Delta and let us not forget in about 2 weeks she will have the PHL Eagles A-319 to enjoy !

Yes, I thought that's what I heard, too. Maybe the scheduling was different for repainting it to this other "special" scheme and that's why it was pulled up?
